Version 1.0 · Effective 6 September 2026
The short version. We sell prepaid eSIM data plans that reach you within a minute of payment. You pay on Stripe’s own page, so we never see your card. A plan can be refunded while it is still unused and uninstalled; once it is installed or has carried traffic, it has been delivered. Coverage comes from mobile operators we buy from, and their networks are theirs, not ours. Insurance and visas are sold by partners, not by us.
This document is written in English only, and the English version is the one that applies. See also our Privacy Policy.
Boutique eSIM is a storefront for prepaid eSIM data plans, operated by Nerds Boutique L.L.C., 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (“we”, “us”). Using the site or buying a plan means you accept these terms.
A plan is a data allowance on a mobile network in one country or a group of countries, delivered as an eSIM profile. Plans are data-only: they do not carry phone calls or SMS, and the number attached to the profile, if any, is not yours to use for either.
You can sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, a phone number, or an email address and password. Keep that access to yourself: anyone who reaches your account can see your eSIMs and their installation codes, and an installation code is the plan.
You must be at least 18 to buy, or 16 with the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf. Tell us the truth about who you are; we may suspend an account we believe was opened with someone else’s identity or payment method.
You can close your account yourself, from the account page. What that deletes and what we are obliged to keep is described in the Privacy Policy.
Prices are shown in the currency you have selected. We suggest one from the country your connection appears to come from and remember your choice; you can change it at any time in your account. The price you see in that currency is the price we charge — we do not convert at checkout and add nothing on top for the conversion.
Prices are shown before tax. Where VAT or an equivalent sales tax is due in your country, Stripe adds it on the payment page, and the total there is what you pay. Discounts — promotional codes, bundle discounts for buying several eSIMs at once, and the Travel Club discount tied to your tier — are applied before tax and shown in the order summary before you pay.
We can change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already paid for.
Payment is handled by Stripe on a page hosted by Stripe. We do not see, handle or store your card number: our site sends you there and learns only whether the payment succeeded. Wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay appear on that page where your device supports them.
An order that your Travel Club credits cover in full does not go to Stripe at all; it is fulfilled straight away.
An order is only a request until it is paid. We provision the eSIM when Stripe confirms the payment, and if a payment is reversed afterwards we may suspend the eSIM it paid for.
After payment the eSIM appears in your account: a QR code, an activation code you can copy, and a one-tap install link for iPhone and Android. Provisioning normally takes under a minute. If it takes longer, the order page keeps waiting and we email you when the eSIM is ready.
You need a device that supports eSIM and is not locked to a particular operator. We cannot tell from our side whether yours is, so checking is on you before you buy — a plan delivered to an account has been delivered even if the phone turns out not to accept it.
Unless a plan says otherwise, it activates when the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination, not when you buy or install it. An installation code can normally be used once.
The networks belong to mobile operators we buy capacity from. We list the countries and the network generations a plan reaches, and those come from our suppliers. What actually happens on the ground — speed, latency, whether a particular building has signal, whether an operator is congested or down — is not something we control or promise.
Operators may shape or slow traffic, block tethering, or restrict uses such as running a server or continuous high-volume streaming. Where a plan carries such a restriction we show it, but a fair-use limit applied by the operator applies whether or not we quote it.
Each plan has an allowance and a validity period, both shown before you buy. Day passes give a daily allowance for the number of days you choose. When the allowance runs out or the period ends, the plan stops carrying data.
Unused data does not roll over, does not extend the validity, and is not refunded in cash or credits. Some plans can be topped up from your account, which adds data without reinstalling anything; others cannot, and the plan page says which.
Before you pay. An unpaid order can be cancelled from your account with one click, and nothing is charged.
An eSIM you have not installed. You can return it from your account, one eSIM at a time — you do not have to return a whole order. Two destinations are offered:
The card option and the bonus are available for a limited period after payment; after it, store credit remains available without the bonus. Both amounts, the bonus rate and the date the period ends are shown to you before you confirm, and those figures are the ones that apply. If you paid for the order entirely with credits, there is nothing to send to a card and credit is the only destination. Credits you spent on the order come back as credits, at what they were worth, without a bonus.
Once installed. An installation code works once. As soon as the profile has been installed on a device, the plan has been delivered and cannot be returned — the operator will not take it back, and neither can we. We check with the operator at the moment you ask, so a refund offered a minute earlier can still be declined if the profile was installed in between.
A returned eSIM is cancelled with the operator and stops working. The order stays open until its last eSIM is returned.
If it does not work. None of the above limits your right to a remedy when the fault is ours or our supplier’s. If a plan cannot be installed, does not connect in a country it covers, or fails for a reason on our side, tell us at service@nerds.boutique and we will fix it, replace it or refund it — including after installation.
Consumers in the EU and the UK. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Digital content supplied immediately is an exception: by asking us to deliver the eSIM at once — which is what buying it does — you agree that supply begins straight away and you accept that the right of withdrawal ends once the profile has been installed. Your statutory rights where what you bought is faulty are unaffected.
Chargebacks are not a substitute for asking. If you open one before contacting us, we may suspend the eSIM and the account while the bank decides.
Purchases earn credits at the cashback rate of your Travel Club tier, and tiers carry a discount of their own. Credits can be spent against a future order in your account.
Credits are not money. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash, they have no value outside this store, and they are forfeited when an account is closed. We may cancel credits or a tier that was obtained through abuse — self-referral, duplicate accounts, orders that are refunded or charged back — and we may change the rates and thresholds of the programme for the future.
Referral rewards are credited when the person you invited enters your code at sign-up and completes a purchase.
You can turn an eSIM you have bought into a link and give it to someone. Anyone holding that link can install the eSIM without an account, so send it to one person and no further. A gift link works only while the eSIM has not been installed; afterwards it stops working.
The plan remains one plan. Giving it away does not create a second one, and we cannot recover an eSIM installed by someone who received a link you shared.
We show travel insurance from SafetyWing and visa services from iVisa. Both are sold by those companies under their own terms: you buy from them, pay them, and claim from them. We are not an insurer, not an insurance intermediary and not a visa agent, and we take no responsibility for their products, prices or decisions.
Prices and eligibility shown next to those offers come from the partner and are confirmed on the partner’s own site, which is where the contract is made. Entry requirements are set by governments and change without notice. We may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no additional cost to you.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or close an account and the eSIMs attached to it if any of this happens.
We do not promise the site or the eSIMs will be available without interruption. We take the site down for maintenance, our suppliers have outages, and networks fail. There is no uptime commitment unless we have signed a separate one with you.
Support is by email at service@nerds.boutique. We answer as quickly as we can and do not guarantee a response time.
Except where the law says otherwise, the service is provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: missed flights, lost bookings, lost business, lost data or anything else that follows from a connection you did not get. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including the mandatory rights of consumers.
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice on the site or by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and they will not apply retroactively to orders already placed. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version. Each version is dated at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and the courts of Wyoming have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings there where the law gives it to you.
Before anything formal, email us. Nearly everything is faster to fix that way, and we would rather fix it.
